Advantages of the Weller IPC training seminars
Our soldering seminars are conducted by highly qualified IPC trainers in accordance with IPC guidelines and offered in various languages. The Weller IPC training seminars back up the quality assurance system used within the electrical and electronics manufacturing industries. Taking the internationally recognised IPC regulations as a basis, the quality level is defined jointly by the producer and customer according to the IPC product class. This assures and certifies the international competitiveness of every manufacturing firm in the electronics industry.

Training content
The training seminars provide a theoretical and practical knowledge on modern equipment. The size of each group is limited to a maximum of 10 participants. In addition covering the general technical aspects of soldering, the training seminars include bespoke application-related topics tailored to customer specifications and requirements. The emphasis is on strategic and long-term co-operation with customers. The seminars and soldering training courses can be conducted both directly on your companys premises and at Wellers own Training & Application Center in Besigheim.

Each course participant is provided with detailed training documentation. All seminars conclude with a test designed to evaluate individual learning. A Master IPC Trainer assesses the theoretical and technical knowledge of each course participant. He is authorised to award the appropriate proficiency certificate to participants who pass the test. The certificate is valid for 24 months. It is recommended that certificate holders subsequently enrol in a recertification course. A PIEK departmental certificate is also issued.
