A variety of work processes including soldering, bonding, welding and laser applications produce fine dust particles and gases which are harmful to both users and the environment. Many countries have statutory guidelines for air quality in the workplace, which prescribe the treatment and avoidance of hazardous airborne pollutants. The Weller philosophy is to protect employees by extracting these fumes.

Weller Zero Smog 4V

The fume extraction system Zero Smog 4V extracts hazardous emissions right at the source and recirculates only completely cleaned air into the work area. A substantial contribution to observe legal regulations regarding clean air at the work environment that operator and valuable technology profit from.

Energy savings

In Sleep Mode, the turbine revolutions are reduced by 70% when the extraction valves are closed. The appliance also switches itself off via the Auto-Off mode after a preset time.

 Quiet and efficient

The Zero Smog 4V guarantees constant extraction performance and reduces both energy consumption and the sound level.

Efficiency monitoring

The appliance function is documented in an internal memory, can be read off easily by means of a USB-stick and can be used as evidence of efficiency.

Easy to use

The Zero Smog 4V fume extraction system has four hose connections. An Easy Click connection is permanently installed. The Easy click system offers many connection possibilities and is easy to operate. The appliance’s four glider rolls ensure flexible working use.

Air always clean

An improved filter status display (red/yellow/green) and an acoustic signal give an early indication of when a filter needs to be replaced. The filter use time can also be preset individually. This avoids continuing operation with a spent filter.

Digital display

The backlit display alows easy multi-lingual user operation.
