Filtration of solder fumes
When soldering dangerous fumes, particles are set free and they can lead to serious and long term medical problems, such as occupation asthma or damage of the respiratory system. Lead free soldering produces up to 250% more particles in the breathing zone than leaded soldering. Therefore, it is of the highest importance to protect the operator with a filtration system, recirculating clean air back into the workplace and ensuring a safe work environment. - Volume extraction is used in hand soldering and machine soldering to protect the operator as well as the product
- Direct extraction is specially used for absorbing and filtering dangerous fumes at the tip of the soldering iron during hand soldering processes
- Machinery / robot extraction: The increased production of fine dust and hazardous vapors by soldering processes brings forth the need to protect technical systems and components, which are increasingly particle-sensitive, from contamination.
