For fine work in the lab or varied tasks at different workstations, the 543E from our Series 500 is often the better choice. At 120 mm long and 66 g, it is noticeably more compact than the 2443P, and its soft foam grip sits comfortably in the hand. Technically the two models are on a par, as the 543E offers the same jaw quality at an identical tip width. Its more manageable form really shows when forming wire loops or bending connecting wires on PCBs. The 543E is fully ESD-safe as well.
