2400 MagicSense Series: Ergonomics for Series Production
Anyone who works with pliers for several hours a day in production needs a tool that takes the strain off the hand. That is exactly why we developed the 2400 MagicSense series, designed specifically for continuous use. Its ergonomically shaped grip prevents hand fatigue, even over long sessions at the workbench. At 146 to 150 mm long, with induction-hardened jaws (64 to 65 HRc) and a non-reflective surface, the series handles demanding work in the production of medical devices (medical technology) and precision electronics. The range includes flat nose pliers such as the 2442P and half-round nose pliers for a variety of gripping, holding and bending tasks.
Series 500: Compact and Versatile
Not every application requires the ergonomic grip of the 2400 series. For fine work, laboratory environments and varied tasks, the Series 500 offers the right alternative. It relies on a soft foam grip and, at 120 to 125 mm, is more compact. That makes it especially handy for detailed work and jobs where precision is needed in tight spaces. The series covers a broad spectrum: flat nose pliers, half-round nose pliers with half-round or internally serrated jaws, models with exchangeable nylon jaws for delicate surfaces and precious metals, wire strippers for wires from 0.25 to 1.02 mm (AWG 30 to 18), and IC/SMD pliers for the placement and repair of PCBs with 14 to 28 pins. Like all Weller Erem pliers, the models in the Series 500 are also fully ESD-safe and therefore suitable for use in protected work areas.
